Rockstar is an American energy drink introduced in 2001. It was founded by Russell Weiner and is based in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The logo of the drink brand was probably designed based on ITC Avant Garde Gothic. The geometric sans serif typeface was designed by Herb Lubalin and Tom Carnase in 1970, based on the logo Lubalin created for Avant Garde magazine.
