About Nightwish Font

Nightwish is a symphonic power metal band formed in 1996 in Kitee, Finland. The above is the cover artwork of their debut album titled Angels Fall First (1997).

The band logo in the cover art features the band name in an elegant script font, which is probably Shelly Volante Script. Designed by Matthew Carter, Shelly Script typeface is a revival of the hand of the early eighteenth century English writing master, George Shelley.
