Slap Shot Font

Slap Shot is a 1977 American sports comedy film directed by George Roy Hill. It depicts a minor league ice hockey team that resorts to violent play to gain popularity in a declining factory town.

The font used for the film title is very similar to Mister Bones. Nick Curtis created this stencil font based on a Solotype typeface called Alpha Midnight. The billing block at the bottom uses ITC Ronda.
