The Streets of San Francisco is a 1970s television crime drama TV series produced by Quinn Martin Productions. It starred Karl Malden and Michael Douglas as two detectives in San Francisco. The show ran for five seasons, between September 16, 1972, and June 9, 1977, on ABC.

The font used for the TV title in the poster above is Helvetica Neue LT 95 Black. For the font used for the title card at the beginning of the show, it is very similar to Advertisers Gothic, a headline font originally designed by the accomplished German-American matrix engraver, Robert Wiebking, for the Western Type Foundry in 1917.
