About Ballerina (film) Font

Ballerina, known as Leap! in US, is a French 3D computer-animated musical film that follows a poor orphan girl who dreams of becoming a ballerina and gets a chance to audition for the celebrated school of the Paris Opera Ballet.

The film title in the poster uses the typeface University Roman. Designed at the Letraset Type Studio in 1983 and based on Speedball hand-lettering, the decorative serif is notable for its narrow capitals with crossbars that sit well above the median line.
