Tengen was a video game publisher and developer that was created by arcade game manufacturer Atari Games and focused on computer and console games.

The font used for the Tengen logo is very similar to Serpentine Bold. Designed by Dick Jensen in 1972, Serpentine is a square-shaped design that is similar to Eurostile, but with more contrast between thick and thin strokes. The semi-serif typeface is available in six different font styles: Light, Light Oblique, Medium, Medium Oblique, Bold, and Bold Oblique.
