Action for Children is a UK children’s charity committed to helping vulnerable and neglected children and young people, and their families, throughout the UK.

The font used for the logo of the charity is FF Meta, with the “action for” part set in FF Meta Book and “children” set in FF Meta Bold. Designed by Erik Spiekermann and released in 1991 through his FontFont library, FF Meta is a popular humanist sans serif typeface that has been adopted by numerous corporations and other organizations as a corporate typeface, for signage or in their logo. These include Imperial College London, The Weather Channel, Free Tibet, Herman Miller, Zimmer Holdings, and Fort Wayne International Airport.
