Lufthansa, also known as Deutsche Lufthansa AG, is the flag carrier of Germany and one of the largest airlines in Europe. Its name is derived from the German word, Luft ‘air’ and Hansa, the Hanseatic League.

The logo of Lufthansa, designed by Otto Firle in 1918, features an encircled stylized crane, with the logotype with the words “Lufthansa” on the right. The font used in its logotype is very similar to a sans serif called Helvetica Black. The font is a commercial one and you can purchase and download the font here.
