Mattel is a toy company founded in 1945 with headquarters in El Segundo, California. Notable products and brands include Fisher Price, Barbie dolls, Monster High dolls, Hot Wheels, etc.

The font used in the Mattel logo is probably Helvetica Bold. Originally released as Neue Haas Grotesk, Helvetica was designed by Max Miedinger in 1957 for the Haas’sche Schriftgiesserei (Haas Type Foundry) in Switzerland. You can view more details about it here.
