An American Girl on the Home Front is the third movie in the American Girl film series and the first to premiere on the Disney Channel. Based on the “Molly: An American Girl” book series, the film tells the story of a girl named Molly living in the year 1944 during World War II.

The font used for the film title in the poster is Albertus, which is a glyphic, serif typeface designed by Berthold Wolpe in the period 1932 to 1940 for the Monotype Corporation type foundry. Wolpe named the font after Albertus Magnus, the thirteenth-century German philosopher and theologian. You can view details about the font here.
