The Stooges is the debut studio album by American rock band The Stooges. It was released on August 5, 1969, by Elektra Records.

The quirky g and the tilted e in the logo looks like Kabel Bold and the logo might be designed based on the font. Kabel is a sans-serif typeface designed by German designer Rudolf Koch, and released by the Klingspor foundry.
