State Farm is a group of insurance and financial services companies in the United States, with corporate headquarters in Bloomington, Illinois.

The font used for the State Farm logo is probably Whitney Bold Italic. Originally developed as an institutional typeface for New York’s Whitney Museum, Whitney is a humanist sans-serif typeface designed by Tobias Frere-Jones and it aims to be functional for signage as well as editorial usage by bridging the gap between gothics such as Franklin Gothic and humanists such as Frutiger. Update: After a second check, we believe the State Farm logo font is modified Frutiger Bold Condensed Italic. Frutiger is a humanist sans-serif typeface designed by Swiss designer Adrian Frutiger.
